Business management today?

These my thoughts are probably because last year I have been studying business stuff from different perspectives and one interesting thing that comes up is the gap between business people (those who do actual business in the company and among companies) and IT people who kind of support the former ones, so they can do their job as effective as possible as far as IT is concerned.
There is so much to study about how those to different minded people cooperate or collaborate in order to get the things done in right way. It is known truth that 3rd group of people called business analysts is required to align or to make the other 2 groups of people understand each other as precise as possible.
To me it seems that these days the best managed business (or the best Business-IT aligned one) is available if those managers are with IT background. If company is driven by IT guys who have moved into business by going to school one more time, then probably it could be extremely effective one. If we think even further, then many things would just fall apart because of IT knowledge those guys have. Maybe I am wrong, but the truth is that I have no time writing here more, however I could, definitely. I will update this topic for sure.

Experience and value

Influenced by various activities lately, decided to post this my thought: It is not important how many years you have worked or have experience being an employee. It is not important what positions you have held in the past. The only thing that matters and that actually creates value and thus gives good experience is how much attention or effort you spend in understanding the context within which you act. Every job, activity or undertaking has some context, so besides doing the thing person must understand the one. For instance, generic work doers after let us say 5 years of doing one and the same thing will not have valuable experience in that unless they pay attention to the context.

Digital music - analog perception

This little story is devoted to my hobby which plays important part in my life. It is about music, its playback and listening and how we do it these days. Actually, I want to underline one interesting phenomena about digital music which is the way it may sound to you as a listener. The thing is that once music is transferred to the digital domain (it's in CD or in wav file or in mp3 file on the hard drive) it becomes very hard to play it back the same way. What I mean is that one and the same track can sound very different to many people and the main reason is playback environment. Be it a standalone CD player, computer or ipod - these devices will produce you different results.

So, where is the difference and what I am talking about here?:

I would call this difference as "Do you hear it?" Each of us has some favorite music and we like to listen to it once again and once again, finally we even do not know how many times we have listened to it, but we are definitely sure we know this music and it actually does not surprise anymore, you just listen to it because you like it. So, I also have such music in mind and it is spreading almost 20 years now since I have listened to it for the first time. I can say that in 2011 I was surprised again by this old stuff. The reason - I played it back in some advanced, but not expensive environment and it is at my place. I suddenly noticed that there are even more instruments in the music than I heard before. There are also various interesting sound effects and background noises that I did not hear before. Now music for me has become much more lifelike than just a flat boom boom. It is amazing, but for 20 years I have been listening for very well known music and did not even realize that there is a bass guitar occasionally appearing in the background plus some distant female choir voices flying in the left channel. The next surprise is that if you play this music on ipod or in regular PC via MediaPlayer for instance, you do not catch these things. Of course, when you listen on ipod knowing that there are voices in the background, you might hear them, but that is subjective. What I want to say after all is that once guys in studio have recorded let us say 15 instruments then we as consumers must here them all, cause only this way we perceive the whole emotional spectrum of the musical masterpiece. So, ask yourself if you hear your favorite artist the way it actually wants to be heard? I am pretty well sure that ipods, all those mini mp3 player boxes, cell phones with mp3 players and regular PCs with regular SW players do not provide you the whole picture of the music. So, want a full picture of your favorite artist? Then get some more advanced stuff at home and you will sometimes not attend the concert because it's at your home ;)
Following this introduction into topic I will post some well know music and some description of what is there, so you who have interest can try this on your own!
